John received his
Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in
1975. |

During his time at
the law school, he served on and wrote for the Law Review. He was
appointed Assistant Editor. |

During law school,
he served as a special court appointed assistant to the bankruptcy
received in Maryland's largest bankruptcy case. |
|
After law school,
he clerked for a Circuit Court judge in Maryland, drafting opinions and
assisting with civil and criminal trials. |
|
After clerking, he
joined a law firm in Maryland, specializing in tax, corporate, and
commercial law. |
|
John has drafted a
great many corporate and securities documents, including IPOs, private
offerings of debt and equity, contracts, and the like.. |
